Client requested a proposal to build a webapp.
Does anyone have a template/sample/copy of an actual proposal to add the first webapp to a DF client?
I "think" I understand all the things I need to add, but I want to get as close as possible to what it will actually take.
1. Hardware.
2. Licences.
3. Development Effort.
4. Graphic Artist Professional Expenses.
5. Design and support Meetings.
6. Installation.

Re: Client requested a proposal to build a webapp.
with webapps there are so many more variables based on what it is you are building, what the customers infrastructure is like, is it an outward facing app or just an intranet site/app, special security consideration depending on type of app/customer, etc.
deployment could be on customers own hardware or hosted hardware or amazon or azure
ongoing costs for domain names, ssl certs, hosting, etc.

Yep. That is exactly the point.
I was talking to an Italian-American Concrete Contractor the other week, he does foundations and subway stations etc. He said he often talks to other contractors, and winds up with, You bid how much? Well that's low. What did you forget?
I really don't want to end up "forgetting" to quote a bunch of expensive things, and then have to either eat them, or go back to teh well for more money.

And did you get proper specs from the customer or are there likely to be items they "forgot" to tell you about but which they will expect...

Of course they did. It read, in full
We need a proposal for the website to let the members log in and get their information. Maybe a credit card payment page for Balances.
What more could a man ask for?
