Suggestion re Data Dictionary Screen
Gah! please move to Studio and Utilities forum
It would be tremendously useful if the DEF information (type, size, and primary index) of each field were displayed in the DD screen. Plenty of space to do so.
1. We define spare columns of various sizes and it would be helpful to know which are right for a particular purpose.
2. It would stop me defining a mask that won't fit in the DEO. :(
3. It would help spot mismatches between field lengths and types and their codemast expected values.

Re: Suggestion re Data Dictionary Screen
Awesome idea.
And if I can suggest a way to search through the columns... for those that have a few too hundred many :).
Re: Suggestion re Data Dictionary Screen
Hi Joseph,
you can press the first letter of the column name repeatedly and it will move through the columns starting with that letter (it moves to the next column that starts with that letter).
Re: Suggestion re Data Dictionary Screen
That's something I use just about daily!
I like Dave's idea!

They certainly are, and that's very helpful. But the columns don't display when you are in the validation object list. I'm asking for the same info there too.
