Hi Everyone
Is there an example on how to configure the url rewriting or what the configuration should look like (in IIS)? Some of the links just don't seem to work, especially the files/downloads.

Hi Raphael,
Add the following to the web.config file:
<rewrite>
<rules>
<rule name="RewriteUserFriendlyURL1" stopProcessing="true">
<match url="^(.+)$" />
<conditions>
<add input="{REQUEST_FILENAME}" matchType="IsFile" negate="true" />
<add input="{REQUEST_FILENAME}" matchType="IsDirectory" negate="true" />
</conditions>
<action type="Rewrite" url="?page={R:1}" />
<serverVariables>
<set name="X_REQUESTED_URL_PATH" value="{R:1}" />
</serverVariables>
</rule>
</rules>
</rewrite>
This is the default we use on our sites.
Thanks. It seems to work, except for the "X_REQUESTED_URL_PATH"-Variable.
Hi,
If you open the IIS Manager => URL Rewrite on the right you can Manage Server Variables and add it there (I think we had it in the DCM tutorials but might be you don't need it.)
Where can I find the DCM tutorials?
Raphael,
I am quite sure Mark means Help via the DCM Studio...
I was looking in the help but could not find anything on how to configure IIS to make this work.
Also: Do you have a tutorial/example on how to create a custom menu? (Our web designer works with Bootstrap and would like to customize the menu, but we can't find much information on how to do it).

We just realised that the file downloads still don't work. They look like this:
http://www.example.com/SomeFile.pdf-f244
Is there another rule necessary or is this due to the missing servervariable?
Bump
