SQL options
What are the SQL options for CM? I have a large system with my last account (since 1991 Lantastic) that is having problems every time Microsoft comes out with a new OS. The latest doesn't seem to have a fix other than SQL. Converting to VDF is not an option.

Re: SQL options
You can run the DAW SQL drivers for DB2 or MS SQL Server. I believe the Mertech drivers still work in CM and the options include MySQL, PostGres and Oracle.

Re: SQL options
Hi Larry,
you can download our standalone SQL drivers from this page. Expand the "DataFlex SQL Driver Support & Updates" section and you will see a link to a zip file. You will need to install them and run your character mode programs using the console mode runtime (dfruncon), but you can use the modern DataFlex tools for the SQL conversion and maintenance.
Of course these are untested and unsupported with products not currently on this Supported Products List (including character mode DataFlex), but we know that customers are using them successfully with character mode.

Re: SQL options
Hi Larry
We still use the Mertech drivers.
They still support DF3.2
They have two current versions.
.1. Classic Edition. Supports 3.1c and up, SQL Server 2012 and up.
.2. Unicode Edition. Supports DF20 and up. 32 and 64 bit Unicode drivers.
