Utility: Dark Studio Theme
Hi,
Attached is small utility to give your DF Studio (DF18.x and/or DF19.x) a dark theme - limited to what the studio can currently support.
Just Unzip the appropriate runtime exe into your DataFlex Lib folder, excute, choose the studio version and apply.
Installation:

if you have DF19.0 installed then unzip 19.0\StudioTheme.* into "C:\Program Files\DataFlex 19.0\Lib"
else if you have DF18.2 installed then unzip 18.2\StudioTheme.* into "C:\Program Files\DataFlex 18.2\Lib"
else message me for a runtime.
Execute lib\StudioTheme.exe
Choose Studio (DataFlex) version & (Dark) Theme and "Apply"
I guess, until the Studio fully supports themes - this is as good as it gets.
Theme Visualisation:

I got no effect at all :(.
My Dataflex 19.0 is not installed under C:\Program Files\.. if that matters.
Re: Utility: Dark Studio Theme
It worked as expected for me but my DF-19 is using the default installation location
Re: Utility: Dark Studio Theme
Hi Albin,
DF19 installed in another location should NOT matter...
Try this:
1. Close all DF19 Studios
2. Copy the StudioTheme to your <DF19>\Lib Folder and execute
3. Choose "19.0" & "Dark", press Apply and confirm "yes"
4. Press the Launch button next
5. Select the "Order Entry" Workspace
6. Open the "Order.vw" file
7. Press F7 to switch to editor mode
8. The source file should be displayed in the dark mode

Nope, not working.
Maybe has something to do with the fact that i´ve set my DF 19.0 studio to always run as Administrator.
I ran the StudioTheme both as admin and regular user but it had no effect dough.
Re: Utility: Dark Studio Theme
Hi Albin,
why do you always run as Administrator? You only need to for a few really rare things, such as creating a WebApp.
In 19.1, we've actually made it so you can run the Studio normally and don't have to restart it as Administrator to create and register WebApps.
Re: Utility: Dark Studio Theme
Didn't work here either 18.2
Also I didn't find the key in the 64 bit. Branch of the registry.

Just felt easier to check the "Always run this app as admin". Since I from time to time use the admin functionality.
Re: Utility: Dark Studio Theme
Oops! Sorry about that...:(
Issue fixed now and I've updated the ZIP file in the original post.
Re: Utility: Dark Studio Theme
Hi Albin,
Could you please try this again ? I've just updated a new ZIP file to the original post.
Thanks
