Compile and run. Hopefully you will see the same as me. I'm using DataFlex 26.0. The issue? There are only 2 rows in the WebList, but if I use my mouse wheel I can scroll the rows out the top of the list, despite there being no scrollbar.

What causes this, and what can I do to stop it? My suspicion is that it is something about the grid layout (I'm guessing) but I wouldn't say it is a complex one - far from it.

Writing workspace configuration files after repair...

The repair, places a binary compatible file in the same spot. Only the timestamp changes.

Is this:
a. We should not have tracked these files
b. The check is trigger happy and should not check timestamp only, but checksum or so.

Please advise, as we want to make sure we all run the same Package versions, but this 'refresh' is annoying, and teaching 'Just ignore' so it will bite us at some stage.

cWebErrorHandler changes after 26.0

Hello, I recently migrated a project to DF26. I found something unusual. Some errors were not reported by my application. For example, any "Error DFERR_Operator string" would be silent. After some fiddling I found the culprit was the error handler object. In the project I have the following lines:

cWebErrorHandlerCustom is a subclass that has some custom error handling logic. This was developed in previous DataFlex versions according to documentation (you can still see it on the latest version here: https://docs.dataflex.dev/VdfClassRe...andler/#sample).
During the debugging process I found that the errors were properly displayed if the custom error handler object was removed from the cWebApp object. I finally found that I have to change the base class. Instead of cWebErrorHandler I need to use cWebServerUIErrorHandler.
I think the old cWebErrorHandler class should be used for non-UI cWebAppBasic based projects while cWebServerUIErrorHandler is required for standard UI web applications.

Is this information correct or am I wrong about this new error handling system? If this is the case, I think the documentation needs to be updated, as it still has examples that work only in pre-26 versions (Maybe they work on DF25, I upgraded from DF24 to DF26 so I cannot check if this change was introduced in DF25).

Is there a way to match a number (oHeader.Sales_num) to a string value in a constrain?
Am I missing something obvious???

Error migrating WebApp to 26.0

I am migrating a webapp to 26.0 (26.0.89.122). It has 4 local libraries and I had to go through each of these and clean up folder references and missing dittos.

So now I can open the app in the studio. Fine. But of course I now have to add packages to make up for what used to available by default. So I add these and they are now present in the dfpkg folder.

DataFlex_dev_Web_UI-1.0.56
DataFlex_dev_Web_UI_Server-1.0.56
DataFlex_dev_Web_UI_Web_Creme_Theme-1.0.3

But even if they appear in the dfpkg folder, they do not appear to be installed in the Package Manager. And they are not included in the makepath (or the code-sense part) so my app will not compile. And also, the studio abruptly terminates with no error if I try to click install on them again.

What should I look for?

Just curious, is there any way to return the sCSSClassName with a query and have it put it in the aTheRows[iRow].sCssClassName along with the Cell values?

OK, this 'Single Sign On" package seems like exactly what I need to enable SSO on my new shiny upgraded webapp.
the v24 version used the cOauth2 package to do it's magic.

BUT.

There does not seem to be a word of documentation, or a hint of how to implement.

1. Can I get some Documentation here.
2. Can Package Manager require some level of documentation before accepting a package for distribution?

Strange Error 500

I'm getting an Error 500 (sub error 5122) when attempting to invoke a zoom view from the menu. Ordinarily, I can usually find what I've messed up, fix it, and move on. But, this is coming from a strange place and I'm not sure why.

The code in the menu is:

DF2026 WebApp Compile Error

Trying to migrate a web app from 19.1 to 26.0, I'm getting a compile error. It's being thrown by the DAW package cWebFileUploadPathHelper_mixin.pkg, and telling me there's an undefined symbol in PHOWORKSPACE.

I've tried tracing the Use stack in the .PRN and not seen anything that jumps out at me. I even tried manually adding Use statements for cApplication and cWorkspace before the first call of cWebApp (which is where the use of the mixin traces back to) with no help.

I eventually figured out how to work around the problem by adding those 2 use statements in our WebApp.src before the Use statements for AllWebUIFlexTronClasses & AllWebAppClasses.pkg, but that feels more like a band-aid than a real fix...

So several questions:

Why is it throwing the error there in the first place?
Why don't the packages that define those functions / objects have Use statements in that mixin package file?
Is there a better way to trace the Use stack than trying to page through the .PRN and find the right number of ">>" tokens?
