Hi,

It would be nice if the above error message could be made clearer.

It happened because I "overloaded" the { Description = "to much text" } metatag with to much text, with about 20 lines of descriptive text with a tripple double-quote multi-string.

Yes, I understand, that is a lot of text.

When you know why, it is easy to fix - just shorten the meta-tag text. The problem is knowing where it happened, as no clue is given on where the problem derives from.

Could this be improved, please?

I got some strange errors when trying to install my DF 19 application at a customer. Therefore, I decided to install the Studio there to be able investigate this problem, but then I get an error "Dataflex is not installed" when the installer precompiles. Thar message box is shown three times, but then it is possible to start the Studio. However, when trying to compile the Order Entry example, the same message, "DataFlex is not installed" is shown. What can cause this?

We've recently added the ability to sign our executables, but we're finding that after signing, recompiling does not skip compile. This is with df-cli and the studio compiler. Signing executables happens as part of our release procedure, so it is not set as a post-compile step. Is there a way of ensuring that skip compile continues to work if the .exe has been signed, but the source code has not been changed? (DF24)
