Been looking a little bit into SBOM stuff as the world is turning into a compliance nightmare.
You gotta check your supplier dependency compliances after all. Sigh.

So.. we now in DF26 have a way to generate a CycloneDX type of SBOM file.
Are there any plans to also support the other standard? Eg. SPDX? The help only talks about SPDX licenses, not about SPDX style SBOM's.

I've read the help available on this for DfCli.

Sorry, but its all a bit vague at what it does for us and what we need to do manually, what it supports etc..

It's a bit like the official documentation from our government on this subject. After reading it, I've got more questions than answers.

I'm running the DF Studio remotely and up until a couple of days ago all was reasonable but somehow my data directory got deleted while doing some SVN maintenance. It wasn't in the recycle bin so I copied a backup data directory to my workspace and now it takes exactly 3 minutes for the Studio to load the workspace and become available for operation. I looked at the performance stats in the About dialog but don't see anything out of the ordinary there when I compare with the same workspace loading on my local box. In fact it says the total workspace load time is 7.3 seconds.

If the workspace is loading in 7.3 seconds, what's causing the 3 minute overall loading/starting of the studio with my workspace? What should I be looking for? Just noticed that the LibXL dll is being distributed since DF 25 in the BIN64 folder (but not the BIN folder).
Does the Studio (or one of the example workspaces) use it? Is it free for us as DF developers (just like CodeJock OCX)?

TL;DR
We need more DataFlex code on GitHub. Add a ".gitattributes" in your DataFlex repos on GitHub and make DataFlex more popular!

Sonny Falk (the absolute legend of DataFlex) has submitted a pull-request to GitHub so that you can view DataFlex code on GitHub with DataFlex syntax highlighting.

Can a Variant be queried, presumably via an internal undocumented function, to find out what datatype it is currently holding?

I'm assuming that such a function would query the value in a specific order, i.e.,
whether or not it holds a value using OLE_VT_EMPTY as a starting point, followed by Date, Number, Integer, String.
Meaning that if the Variant has been parsed a value and it isn't a valid date, number, or integer, then it must be a string.

I just installed an small update on an RDS server and I am getting "WebView2 not installed!" error message, we use WebView2 to display the logon page, so it is a mayor issue since no one can login.
I tried to re installing the evergreen WebView2, reinstalling DF23.0 client, reinstalling my software and nothing seems to allow it to work. WebView2 runtime 151.0.4129.86 is the one installed, it is the one that re installing DF23.0 client install also.
I haven't been able to test version 150.0.4078.105 which is the other available on the MS download site.

Any help will be appreciated!

Works fine but if I set it to a value of 0 and tab out of the form the 0 is blanked out and the user needs to see that 0.
