The DDUG committee are already busy planning next years Australian event.
Timing is fairly crucial with othere events like DISD, EDUC and Synergy.

Do the DISD people have any dates set for next year as yet ?

Many thanks

Well the tentative dates are end of January. (25th-27th) Also remember that
there is normally a training day before. So Thursday will normally be a day
to learn something.

Hendrik,
That't a pretty big change, usually it is end of February. What's up?

They are "tentative" for the reason that we are planning at this stage. But
for now take them as writ.

Hi Hendrik,
This is the first time in about 10 years I know of that DISD is not
scheduled for the end of February. Is there a reason for the change? I don't
think it will affect my attendance, but just curious.

Hi Tod

Persistent aren't you? <vbg>

The idea is to move it away from the Super bowl and Presidents day weekends.
Also we heard a whisper that DAC intends to have a conference in May. So to
move our dates further forward so that we can attend both or just DISD 2007.

Helloooooo,
Yes I can, even from the other side of the world, upside down !. And the
reason I ask again was the unanswered question regarding the shift of what
is perceived as the "usual" time-frame. I am involved in the planning of
the Australian developers event, and we need to be aware of any potential
conficts, same as you.

years
