This one's for you DaveR

The brother of a fellow student in my martial arts class is from Canada but has lived in the Cayman Islands for quite some time now. I had heard from my friend, Jolene, that her brother was an "artist", but at the time I thought "yah, but who isn't an artist". Today, I saw for the first time his work.... stunning and vivid are his works. After showing Linda, we found that the price (for prints anyway) was attainable and reasonable (even for us Canadians)

Enjoy,

Wouldn't say I know him but I've met him. We are active followers of a thriving local art scene and I'm an occasional painter though strictly amateur. Mostly I buy materials and put them in cupboards....
A lot of artists make their home here and are in the gallery. ( I had one tiny acrylic in a corridor between the gents and ladies toilets for a few months - proudest moment  - no idea where it went after that to so now I say I have a work in the permament collection)

;)... Wow That's great. I had no idea. It seems that almost half of the population there is an artist! My Mom is a painter and has sold pieces here in Canada. When we had our yoga retreat and needed pictures and painting to fill up the walls, I quickly painted a few things to hang... So quick in fact, that my wife, Linda, started referring to me as "Michael... The 20 minute artist". Don't paint at all any more. I painted enough to know that I had almost zero talent.

Didn't refer to you as Michelangelo, eh?
