Hello,

They could reproduce and confirm the bug, according to the sequence of the attachments.

Symptom: A character appears in the database, post-clean (delete or ctrl + R) and save the field blank.

This occurred with the system, which I'm working on 19.2 and reproduced in the Order.
They do not occur in 64 Bit or Terminal Service, but it does occur in Windows Vista 32, where Studio is installed.
In 18.2 is Ok.

Hi Edgar,

it sounds like it's system-specific. Does it happen in all browsers? Windows Vista is not supported, not even in DataFlex 18.x.

Hi Dennis,

It was not in the Web version of the Order application, but in windows, so it's not a browser.
The symptom does not occur, with 18.2.

Edgard

Edgard,

I don't see this trying to reproduce your steps. You mention using Ctrl+R but that is not a standard for deleting or saving so that has me wondering if I'm not really taking the correct steps. This is what I did...

Ran Order Entry Tab
Open Customer view
Find a customer
Go to Comments tab
Click in comments and press Crtl=A to select all
Press Del
Click on Save icon in toolbar (say ok to prompt)
Refind the customer - no characters in comments

Tested with Beta 2 on Windows 10.

Edgard,

I don't see this trying to reproduce your steps.
Same, tested on Win10 x32 and could not reproduce.

Hi John,

CTRL + R = Cut the text content = Delete (used to clear the text).
As mentioned, I believe the problem is with Windows Vista 32, since this did not occur in Terminal Services on Windows Server 2008 64 bit and now Windows 10 64/32.

I reproduced the steps in the same equipment (Windows Vista 32), with DF18.2, which is ok, but the same does not happen with DF19 Beta 2.

It would be possible to test in Windows 7 in addition to Win Vista 32 ?

NOTE: I'm using Collate.cfg from the Portuguese language, and this is certainly different from you.

Thanks,
