Our company is going to be hiring me a "direct report". This job is
located in Scenic Chattanooga Tennessee. It is a 40 hour a week job with
good benefits... This is a NEW position.

I do not know a salary range. Probably depends on what someone has to
offer. The chain of command is wide but NOT deep... you will be dealing
with all levels of the company... from plant employees, VPs, managers,
president, owner... and even me!

This person needs to assume the PC/SERVER TECH roles and move into
supporting our DF 3.2 console mode apps (maintenance mainly) and
facilitate the transition to web based system and/or VDF. My VDF
efforts, although effective and highly productive, have been limited.
One of my many goals is to move from the trusty built-in database system
to a more flexible and integratable SQL solution. We are installing a
multi-server automation and control system in the plant that runs
MS-SQL. So Microsoft SQL has a leg up on the rest.

We are a growing MANUFACTURER in the USA. We have a sister company 7
miles away, 2 remote warehouses, and a nephew that is solely based on
the web.
