Hi

Here in Australia we tried to get technical support from Data Access Worldwide Asia Pacific to no avail, no responses to emails, phone calls, even new product (FlexODBC) purchases aren't served through the website, though we paid. Some phone numbers are simply not woking, on the other no one takes the call. Did they close, and if yes, can we perform our purchases then through any other Regional office?

You can purchase direct from Miami. This change was made a year or so ago and was publically notified at the time in a newsletter (would have to dig out the email from Chip which says we can buy direct).

AFAIK AP hasn't closed but there are reasons for not dealing with the office in Auzzie.

Hi Alex,

I'm not sure what the contact issues are with Data Access Asia Pacific. You (or others in Australia or New Zealand) may contact me directly to place orders or for sales information about Data Access products. As soon as we have an update on the communication issues with DAAP I will post an update.
Best regards,

Fern - its always been an absolute pleasure.
Orders and response are excellent even given the time difference.

Maybe we should start a thread on each of the main employees doing a praise session on each.

And it's not OT... :p

Thanks for the kind comments, it almost makes me blush.
Please note that DAAP is open and available and was offline only briefly due to a personal emergency.
