Hi Henry,

I just searched for cjdbgrid and got 9 threads as results. I use the search in the title bar. How did you search?

I was doing it from the Search in the Title Bar. I also used the advanced search. It is working now. Maybe I'm losing it, but I did try from 2 machines.
Thanks for the response!
Henry

We're pretty sure the search is fixed now. Apparently there was an indexing problem.

One of the nice new features of vBulletin 4 is the combined forums and blogs search. Use Advanced Search if you only wish to search one of these.

Mark,

There really was a problem and we believe we have it fixed (the upgrade process seemed to somehow have invalidated the database indexes at the SQL server).

Thanks for the help Dennis! Did it used to do partial searches? If I do a search for ComFilterText
It will find a post I had done. If I do a search for FilterText
the post is not found.

I thought it worked for partial matches before.

Thanks again for all the help.

Hi -

IIRC (& I can't seem to find the Search Help now) - Put an asterisk before & after: *FilterText* finds "FilterText" & "ComFilterText".I just tested that & it worked for me...
