Hello Daw, Hello Ulbe,

I'm trying to install VRW on a windows2008-R2-server (x64) but get all sorts of errors when starting the VRW application.

see attachment vrw_server2008r2-64.docx

I think it has something to do registering the codejock.ocx.
Codejock Version 13.0.0 is installed on the system.
Installation is done as administrator

Roel,

Visual Report Writer uses the CodeJock 12.0.2 version of the controls.

When we install we check if the registry contains the references to the controls. If so, we leave it alone, if not we install the OCX and register this. This turned out not to be the best choice and we change that for the next release where we also check if the binary files are present where the registry says they are.

You mention you install on a server. Is that with Windows Terminal Server or ???

Vincent,

I've installed it on a Windows 2008 Server SP2 (with the latest hotfixes).
Accessing the application we've created thru terminal server.

First installed our own app (vdf15.1-pervasive). Works fine.
But running the vrw-reports (runtime mode) gives problems. Registering vrwapi.ocx succeeded.
The application crashes while on the local machine everything works ok.
So i tried to install vrw 2010 but this gives also problems as presented.
