I just received an e-mail with details of the released version of VRW.

Have tried 4 times with 3 different browsers and each time the download does not complete.
File size should be around 24 meg - It's finishing anywhere between 15 and 19 Meg.

So close!

Hi Dave,

I also have had problems with IE, but it's Ok with Mozilla.

Thanks Antonio,

Firefox 3.6.7 was one of the browsers I had tried previously - but just tried again, but it died at about 17 Meg...

Hello Dave,

Which IE version do you use?

My browser of choice is Chrome, but after that failed I tried FF 3, followed by IE8.
I'm on Windows XP Pro SP3

I'm thinking, maybe it's somehow related to your connection speed? Could you tell me what it is?

I just downloaded with no problem - on a cable modem - ~ 17mb down, ~2 up (awful big difference - but that's what speedtest.net says...)

I've significantly increased download script timeout. If your connection speed was the issue here, it should now work fine. Could you try and download VRW again?

Hi Bartek,

I live 100meters from my Telephone exchange and experience ADSL2+ speeds of in excess of 20Meg.
My quota allows me 55 GIG per month (peak times) & I usually get close to that.
Prior to this issue I cannot remember the last time a file failed to download!
cheers Dave

Thanks Bartek,

That did it ! Although my connection speed is pretty fast, all my attempts including this last successful one were all about 3 minutes to download - which is around 150K /sec. Not fast, but it was always continuous with no pauses...

Appreciate your prompt help!
Dave

Now it's working here, yesterday I've tried several times, at office and home.

Thanks.
