I noticed on the slides (http://www.vdfsig.co.uk/Include/ElectosFileStreaming.asp?FileId=669) from the VDF SIG 18 April 2009 meeting notes (http://www.vdfsig.co.uk/1seater.asp?pageid=1025) a comment regarding upcoming VDF 'Format Field' controls. I would really like to know what these are intended for!

I'm also looking forward to follow the development of the API!

Ola,

Can you give a more precise link? I cannot find what you mention.

Ola,

For the Visual Designer we had to create some custom controls. One place where they are used is in the format field (editor) window. There are no plans to export these classes for generic use.

That's too bad! :(

I see. Do you mean like the "Format Object" menu item? It's nice to see the new features in VRW. But of course, new features that we can use elsewhere as well are even nicer :)

By the way, I believe the Codejock Property Panel would be a nice candidate for such details in VRW. (Wizards and dialogs are nice, but so is a property panel!)
