Oliver,

We're waiting too. While the gurus at Microsoft told us that the dates
would "eventually" fix themselves, it seems that this isn't happening.
Some of the groups did indeed "fix themselves" and others have not.
There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to what is happening or
why. We just can't invest any more time in trying to get this better
than it is.

Best regards,

But I thought DAW said that messages were getting their dates back over
the next few days. But I have redownloaded message headers for the
visual-dataflex NG twice now and everything is still showing 1/17/2005
except for the newer stuff.
When will all the dates be restored?

Well, well....
1. Old computer proverb: "Don't fix what works"... I think the newsgroups
worked perfect until recently :-)
At least don't fix what works until you know the fix works!!! This is a
disaster!!!
2. What happend to the FLEXOLE newsgroup? Are questions on this subject
supposed to go to VDF newsgroup now?

my 2c...

Another old computer proverb:

"If you can do it Unix instead of Windows, do it in Unix"...

My thought on the whole thing was why they didn't just feed all the messages to
a Diablo server...
