View Full Version : Copying Electos websites

I'm currently updating our templates and content, and have been
experimenting on a development instance of Electos (so as not to
completely mess up our web site). Now that I'm just about done, is there
a way to replicate those changes onto the live instance?

I'm aware that I can just copy the web (ASP, image, include, javascript,
HTML, etc.) files, but what about the structure within the Electos
Studio (e.g. new structure items, new layout, new content)? Is there a
tool that does it, or is it a matter of exporting data (via DB
Explorer?) from the development database into the live one?

Cheers!

Hi

This link explains how to move a website form one server to another:
http://www.electos.com/FaqItem.asp?pageid=739

Does that solve your problem?

Thijs
