Hi everyone
I know this may not be an issue with dataflex (more likely not to be) but I wonder if anyone has come across this problem:
Crystal is installed with the dataflex connectivity kit all ok. However even though the user in question can browse the drive where the dataflex data sits, on opening certain files (all located in the same folder) , crystal reports login failed!.
This is very odd because the folder where the dataflex data files are, has the correct permissions (system runs on Sco UnixWare) and the login in windows matches the one in UnixWare and the software that runs the drive mapping (visionfs). However there are other files in this folder that can be opened without a problem. The patches have been applied to both visionfs and Crystal 9. The situation with the opening of some files and not others is not down to file size either. As some of the files that can open are larger than those that cannot be opened.
Any ideas on this or is there a crystal newsgroup that anyone knows of?
Regards
