Hi

On Windows XP with DF 3.2 in Console Mode we have a field which is supposed
to display a Tick, but instead it displays a miniature 1 Symbol.

Someone told me some time ago how to correct this and we have lost the
information.

Is someone able to assist again please.

Thanks in advance

John Wilkinson

Have a nice day.

Best regards

In Texas, a tick is a blood-sucking insect that attacks dogs and humans
alike. Why would you want to display one?.:-(

(sorry, I couldn't help it)<bg>

John,

Is the 'tick' value coming from the database ?

In CM (at least English version) a ASCII character 251 will display a sort
of checkmark. We have this in our DFINI.CFG that shows in our checkboxes.

John,

Have you checked what is configured in dfini.cfg? Start dfconfig and see
what the visual form of a checkbox is in your situation. If you are not
satisfied correct it.

John,

If nobody knows or remembers how to fix this, you might have to use two
different dfini.cfg files.

Also, Vincent might be asking you to see if a checkbox can appear if you
force it with dfconfig.

Best regards,

Curtis
