Add your filters down there if you have some.

I've been using Beyond Compare for a few months now and its fabulous. The
only thing better is the price tag. Thanks for the notes on this, Wil.

Well it was simple either "write it in the wiki locally in the LAN" or
do the same on the vdfwiki. It still contains a few smallish syntax
errors, but by starting to write a topic like that over there, you can
at least use that as a base and improve on it.

A wiki is pretty good 'post-it' material.

Hi,

Remembered that I had written some of my filters at vdfwiki.com ... so figured to look them up there.

Umm... vdfwiki.com is off line, am I just unlucky and did I choose the wrong moment to look at it?

There's a DNS problem.

FWIW, if hosting this site is an issue, then I'll be happy to give it a home at one of my servers, already run a few wiki's so adding another one is not a problem.

Hi Wil and al,

Custody of VDFWiki has been transferred to Unicorn Interglobal about a year ago and I thank them for that. At the same time the name was changed.

So everybody that hasn't already: Make a note that good old vdfwiki.com has changed it's name and address to the much better dataflex.wiki (http://dataflex.wiki).

Hi Sture,

Nice. Glad to hear (and see) that the site is still online.

Yes, I agree that it is a great URL.

Also updated the page at vdf-guidance for it already (http://vdf-guidance.com/Page.asp?Page=RESOURCES )

May I suggest to put up a redirect or update the DNS pointers of vdfwiki.com to point to the new site?

Thanks Sture!

Hi again.

I'm sorry, but I don't own the name anymore. VDFWiki is no more

Perfect!

The plan was that after redirenting for a whole year users would have noticed the name change :-)

Sture,

Yes that makes sense and I'm sure I visited in the mean time, yet never noticed the redirect...

Only now I see :

Updated Date: 2017-10-25T05:10:12Z
Creation Date: 2007-09-25T13:25:39Z
Registry Expiry Date: 2017-09-25T13:25:39Z
Domain Status: redemptionPeriod https://icann.org/epp#redemptionPeriod

Guess that it had a good life. 10 years is not that bad for a domain name and luckily the site lives on.

Thanks Sture for initiating and maintaining Vdfwiki for so long and thanks Mike for taking over maintenance and hosting.

Perhaps DAW can add it to their marketing material every now and then and point out the site exists.
