    Default Can't find Termlist.cfg (again)

    Greetings,

    Windows 7 (uhuh, that's right!) Dataflex 2.3b (I heard that!)

    One of our techs got a new PC with W7 and tried to run our inhouse application using the batch file we use on all our workstations called Remote.bat.
    But he is getting the above error. I looked at it and everything seems to be working correctly until it tries to Dfrun.

    The dfpath, dfprog, the Path environment variables are looking good.
    Path=R:\ate\dataflex
    DfProg=R:\ate\dataflex
    Dfpath=R:\.;R:\ate\dataflex;R:\ate\atedat;R:\ate\a teobj;R:\ate\atesrc;

    With the termlist.cfg in R:\ate\dataflex.
    Anyway, this runs fine on XP machines. Any ideas appreciated.
    Thanks,

    Hi Tod,

    look at my answer in http://support.dataaccess.com/forums...ad.php?t=42384

    I don't know if this help you ( i've never tryed in Win7) but AUTOXEC.NT and CONFIG.NT exists in WINDOWS 7.

    I would try "Set Home=R:\ate\dataflex" too. Works for me with DataFlex 3.01b and Windows 7.

    Does he have UAC turned off? That changes the way all versions of character mode Dataflex see the hard drive. For example, if I disable UAC on my Win7 production machine, or even just run an elevated *administrator* command prompt, then the compiler for DF31C can't find files that are in the same folder and referenced with a #Include statement.

    For jollies, I just fired up an old DF23B copy of my app in Win7 and it launched fine.
