Classic & Webapp coexist?
I've got a need to have an old Classic ASP application and a new VDF Webapp coexist - the Classic ASP menu calls Webapp pages. Do I need separate virtual directories or is there some way to merge the two global.asp files and make them play nice together all in one directory? I've got them both working out of the same virtual directory but have to change the global.asa each time.
Re: Classic & Webapp coexist?
Hi Bob,
do you mean web apps running on 2 different VDF server revisions or an ASP app and an Ajax app?

One server running
an old "Classic" ASP app - Non VDF
and a new (Ajax, not that it matters) Webapp.
The difference is the settings in Global.asp and I've tried moving the various settings inside one global.asp file to no avail, either one or the other doesn't work. I'm thinking that I need two different virtual directories unless I can have two different global.asp files, named differently perhaps. Probalby not though...
